PENDING FITNESS...IT'S A MOVEMENT!
We are so excited to announce the launch of Pending Fitness. In a nutshell, Pending Fitness is an idea inspired by the international grassroots movement of "pending coffees" or "suspended coffees" (www.suspendedcoffees.com). Pending Fitness takes the ideas of "pending coffees" and applies it to the health and fitness sector, by bringing fitness classes to groups and communities in HRM that might not normally have access to regular and varied fitness programs.
The goals of Pending Fitness include providing fitness classes to corporate businesses within HRM, who, in turn, will "sponsor", one for one, a fitness class in a chosen community or for a chosen group. Pending Fitness will initially deliver the corporate classes at Cyclone or at an alternate location (depending on the fitness activity). Subsequently, I will travel to a group/community to deliver fitness classes. By offering fitness classes to those who do not have regular or varied activities in their groups or communities, we can promote health and wellness in our region, and as with "pending coffees", promote kindness and caring in all communities.
